Mr. Shawn M. Hricko
President

Shawn is married to Faith Hricko and is the father of two boys, Paxton and Brody. Shawn graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1994. He attended Penn State from 1994-1999 for his BS in Mechanical Engineering, then returned to Penn State for his Masters's degree and graduated in 2001.

Shawn has been a resident of Bemus Point since 2013. He works at Cummins Inc., Jamestown Engine Plant, where he is the Director of Assembly Operations.

Shawn is a member of the Penn State Behrend Industry Advisory Board (IAB) for the Industrial Engineering Program and the Chautauqua Leadership Network.

Dr. Margaret L. Spence
Vice President

Margaret is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary College where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History; and the University of Pittsburgh where she obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching and her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Supervision. She has been a summer resident of Bemus Point since 2004 and a year-round resident since November 2016.

Margaret is married to William Spence, now deceased, and they have two children, William (Madison) Spence, and Margaret Spence-Hondru. Margaret is a retired Director of Special Education with the Regional Resource Center in Ohio.

Margaret is a member of the YMCA, the Monticello Foundation, the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the Association for Curriculum, and Supervision Fi Delta Kappa.

Mrs. Tina M. Hall

Tina is married to Patrick Hall and is a stay-at-home mother of three boys, Kyle (who is 24 and in the US Navy), Tyler (who is 21 and in the US Air Force), and Corey (who is 18 and in the US Air Force).

Tina graduated from Forestville Central School in 1991 and has been a resident of Bemus Point since 2000. She has an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from Jamestown Community College. Tina graduated from Fredonia State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Forensic Psychology and Sociology. She is involved with the all-sports boosters and football boosters. Tina is active at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Dunkirk, NY.

Tina has served on the Bemus Point School Board since 2014.

Mrs. Beth Olson

Beth is married to Robert Olson and has two boys, Nicholas and Erik. She is retired from Bemus Point
Central School where she was an elementary school teacher.
 
Beth graduated from Socastee High School and has been a resident of Bemus Point since 1994. She has an Associate’s Degree from Jamestown Community College. Beth graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Education.
 
Beth is a member of the New York State United Teachers and the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System. She currently works as a volunteer in the NICU at UPMC Hamot.

Mrs. Megan Kent

Megan is married to Floy Kent Jr. and is a stay-at-home mother of two children, Charlotte and Jameson.  She is a graduate of Frewsburg Central School and has resided in Bemus Point since 2008. 

Megan has enjoyed coaching girls' Babe Ruth softball for the past two years.  

Ms. Lauren Ryan

Lauren has a daughter, Margaret, and they have resided in the Bemus Point district since 2009.  She graduated from Jamestown Community College and works as an Administrative Assistant for Westfield Academy and Central School District.  

Lauren serves as a parent representative of the Southern Tier Babe Ruth softball league.
