Bemus Point Central School District Notice of Board Member Vacancy
The Bemus Point Central School District Board of Education is seeking candidates interested in filling a vacant seat on the Board. The term is for one year and expires June 30, 2023.
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest to the District Clerk, P.O. Box 468, Bemus Point, NY 14712. Please include in the letter your motivation for applying for the opening. Letters of interest will be accepted through Friday, September 30, 2022.
Qualifications of a School Board Member…
- must be a citizen of the United States.
- must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- must be able to read and write.
- must be a qualified voter of the district.
- must have been a resident of the school district for at least one year prior to their election.
- must not be a convicted felon or one adjudged by a court to be mentally incompetent.
